The AETP is a Slovenian NGO, founded in December 2020, historically focused on introducing transparency into Slovenian livestock farming and related industries through media campaigns. By documenting the use and abuse of farmed animals, we have strived to enable an informed public discourse on animal farming. We understand the suffering and injustice animals face as originating both from suppressed empathy towards farmed animals and the public having a distorted perspective or ignorance about farming and slaughter practices. We attempt to remedy this by publishing longitudinal investigations into animal enterprises that avoid overediting. Our organisation does not operate as part of an international project and is mostly self-funded.
